Today in English class our very international students have presented different traditions related to the countries of their origins.
We have been privileged to learn how the Day of the Dead is celebrated in Germany, Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile and Russia. We have also learned about the Persian celebration of the longest night (Shabe Yalda) and the Day of Birth of the Holy Virgin in Serbia (Mala Gospojina).
Our Catalan students with international experience have talked about the origins and the evolution of Halloween (with a tasty sample of the most typical treats) and another group of Catalan students have introduced Castanyada in the sweetest way, with home-made panellets! Here, some pictures
